Facilities Manager - Walker Area

Job Description Facilities Manager | Walker, MI Salary Range: $82,000 - $127,000 depending on experience Are you a meticulous professional with a passion for excelling in facilities manager? Key Responsibilities * Oversee preventative and corrective maintenance programs for manufacturing equipment and infrastructure. * Develop and manage the facilities budget, including capital projects and operational expenses. * Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards for facility operations. * Manage vendor contracts and relationships for facility services, repairs, and supplies. * Lead facility-related projects such as expansions, renovations, and equipment installations. * Optimize utility consumption and manage energy efficiency initiatives within the manufacturing plant. * Implement and manage emergency preparedness and business continuity plans for the facility. Recommended Qualifications * Proven experience (5+ years) managing facilities in a manufacturing or industrial environment. * Strong technical knowledge of industrial building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, utilities, compressed air) and preventative maintenance strategies. * Demonstrated project management skills for facility upgrades, renovations, and capital expenditure projects. * In-depth understanding of safety regulations (OSHA) and environmental compliance pertinent to manufacturing operations. * Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and experience in budget management and vendor negotiation.
