Choose a schedule that works for you at the Best Lagoons in the United States!JOB SUMMARY:The cook is the face of food and beverage to our guests. Working in a food truck environment, this person will prepare and serve limited menu items using ovens, deep fryers, and other prep items.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Clean, organize, stock, and maintain stations with all required suppliesPrepare ingredients for service, including tasks such as chopping vegetables, making pizzas, assembling sandwiches, preparing sauces, etc.Thoroughly clean the station and manage leftover food appropriatelyMaintain inventory levels as neededEnsure that dishes are served simultaneously, meeting high-quality standards, and adhering to timely serviceAdhere to sanitation regulations as well as safety and appearance guidelinesEnsure proper food safe temperatures, utilizing thermometers and logsKeep up-to-date on all food ingredients and follow internal policies referring to food allergiesFollow and report on instructions provided by the management teamMaintain a professional and positive demeanor while interacting with coworkers and customersFollow and report on instructions provided by the management teamOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS:HS Diploma or equivalentAt least 18 years of ageFood & Beverage Safety certifications (we will provide training/certification if needed)Outstanding communication, customer service, and cash handling skills preferredAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentExperience using Focus or other POS a plusEnergetic, enthusiastic, and reliableFlexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Shifts may vary based upon business needsAbility to work outside in all-weather elementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. if neededYou must be able to work indoors in a high-temperature environment while standing for extended periods of time.This position is located inside a food truck where temperatures and humidity can be extreme.
