Data & AI Engineer (SAS Modernization)Remote (EST / CST)Duration: 6 Month ContractOur client is seeking a Data & AI Engineer (SAS Modernization) to design and deliver cloud-native data and AI solutions as part of a large-scale SAS modernization initiative on Google Cloud Platform.Responsibilities & QualificationsDesign and develop data and AI solutions supporting SAS modernization effortsBuild and integrate LLM-based solutions using Gemini and Vertex AIDevelop scalable data pipelines and workflows on GCPWork with BigQuery and Cloud Storage (GCS) for data processing and managementContainerize applications and workflows using DockerCollaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cloud-native architecturesRequirementsStrong Python expertise (must-have)Hands-on experience with LLM systems (Gemini, Vertex AI)Solid GCP experience including BigQuery, GCS, and cloud architectureProficiency in SQL and data engineering conceptsExperience with Docker and containerized environmentsStrong problem-solving and system design skills
