Job Description:
· Must have strong computer skills. (ENOVIA, Premier, SAP, DOORS, QlikView, etc.)
· Must have 2+ years of related experience in the design, development and testing of aerospace/defense systems,
· or minimum 1-year related experience with Master's Degree in Engineering or MBA – is required.
· Must have minimum 1-year experience in Model Based Systems Engineering and SysML is required.
· Proficiency with Cameo Enterprise Architecture or Cameo Systems Modeler (MagicDraw) is preferred.
· Experience with parametric modeling and simulation is preferred
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and ability to learn new software is required.
Education Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Math or Physics – or similar technical discipline - is required.
Position Responsibilities
· Model Based Systems Engineering: Develop MBSE models using the SysML modeling language in Cameo Enterprise Architecture (MagicDraw).
· Systems Engineering: Employ MBSE to define and trace design requirements, interfaces, test data, and performance values associated
· with engineering and manufacturing development of the aircraft and its subsystems. Support all program milestones, technical reviews,
· and decision analysis/trade studies.
· Strategic Planning: Utilize MBSE to support the development of future product improvements and R&D investment plans for the H-1 platform.
Qualifications
· The Model-Based Systems Engineer will support system architecture and parametric modeling with simulation for the AH-1Z & UH-1Y aircraft, including requirements and interface management. This position will develop initial Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) models for all subsystems of the aircraft, including (drive systems, rotor systems, airframe systems, propulsion systems, etc.) and will also support cross-functional projects for aircraft modifications with analysis and trade studies when warranted.
