Our focus spans proprietary technology, consulting, and energy transition to complete delivery of major capital projects and programs.KBR is looking for a CSE – Senior Engineer who will be responsible for executing process control system scope including DCS, telecommunications, instrumentation, and process analyzers for small, medium, and large oil and gas, refining and petrochemical projects.Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Participate in the detail engineering execution project phase.Use strong relationship building skills to interact with leadership, engineers, designers, document control, procurement, project controls, all other departments, and the client as required.Execute the engineering design in accordance with applicable specifications and standards to achieve project objectivesCreate requisitions for engineered items and development of spare parts listsReview supplier documentation for accuracy and compliance with the purchase ordersCommunicate both technical and commercial issues to the lead engineer for change managementEnsure all project documentation is completedRequired Education, Experience, & SkillsEDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in engineering3+ years of industrial oil & gas, refining, petrochemical, or heavy industries experience3+ years of experience in technical control systems and/or instrumentation engineeringTotal Minimum 5 years of experienceEIT requiredExperience with process control specifications and control system designExperience with managing suppliersStrong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with team members, clients, and stakeholders.Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.Attention to detail and the ability to ensure project documentation is accurate and up to date.Preferred Education & SkillsPE or P.Eng.Experience in process control systems and network architectures: DCS, PLC, SIS, BMSExperience in instrumentationExperience with electrical schematic drawings, logic diagrams, and panel schedulesKnowledge of and exposure to telecoms, cyber security, and process analyzer engineeringKBR BenefitsKBR offers a selection of competitive lifestyle benefits which could include 401K plan with company match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending account, disability, paid time off, or flexible work schedule.
