As a company we shall never accept anything less than a culture that fosters creativity, growth, and profitability for both our Partners and the company.PRIMARY PURPOSE:Formulated Solutions is seeking a commercially assertive Sales Director responsible for originating and closing new, high-value contract manufacturing programs within the OTC and personal care markets.This role is not primarily account maintenance. The successful candidate will generate new logo business, penetrate target brand owners, and close multi-year manufacturing agreements in a competitive, margin-sensitive environment.This position requires a disciplined, resilient hunter who can sell value, defend pricing, and drive decisions at the executive level.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Originate and close new contract manufacturing programs (50%+ focus on new logo acquisition)Self-source and build a qualified pipeline through proactive outreachPenetrate target accounts and reach executive-level decision-makers (CEO, COO, VP Operations, VP Supply Chain, etc.)Lead complex sales cycles involving technical, operational, and financial stakeholdersDefend pricing and protect margin in competitive RFP and bid environmentsSecure clear commitments and defined next steps in live meetingsChallenge client assumptions and uncover compelling business driversNavigate procurement without relying on it to drive the sales processMaintain disciplined CRM usage and accurate forecastingOperate independently in a remote environment with strong self-directionQUALIFICATIONS:Consistent track record of self-generating pipelineExperience closing high-ticket, multi-year B2B agreementsAbility to maintain margin against lower-priced competitorsForecast accuracy and milestone-driven sales process disciplineResilience after lost opportunities and continued forward momentumComfort asking difficult operational and financial questionsAbility to collaborate across the organization for alignmentSupport and align to Company ValuesREQUIRED EXPERIENCE:8+ years of B2B sales experience in contract manufacturing, industrial services, complex technical services, or comparable industriesProven success in competitive, RFP-driven environmentsDemonstrated history of selling value over lowest priceExperience engaging C-suite and executive stakeholdersStrong CRM discipline and data-driven pipeline managementExperience in CDMO, OTC pharmaceutical, personal care, or highly regulated manufacturing environments strongly preferred
