Rowe Price, Lux Capital, Founders Fund, and Andreessen Horowitz, our fast-growing team is united around reindustrializing American manufacturing for the 21st century and beyond.About the RoleSupport the identification and prospect of new federal business opportunities with the government or as a subcontractor to major defense and aerospace companiesBuild and maintain relationships with staff and decision-makers within these organizationsSupport the Director's successful execution of the Federal team's strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targetsProvide direct support and subject matter expertise to the Federal contracts team on proposal development and coordinate with program and engineering teams as needed to produce winning technical and pricing proposalsWork collaboratively with our supply chain team to provide the best possible service and support to the clientsProvide regular updates to Director of the status of sales activities, opportunities, and progress towards targetsCreate value-add solutions, helping to support Hadrian leadership's success in demonstrating our capabilities through remote and in-person meetingsLead the customer onboarding processKeep up-to-date with industry trends and developments, including changes in technology, competition, and customer needsMaintain keen knowledge of the status of military service budgets and overall President's Budget progress relative to the availability of future and currently appropriated federal funds to Hadrian What We're Looking For: 5-7+ years of experience in defense/aerospace/maritime industries, either in industry supporting government programs or in a government role; working knowledge of procurement, manufacturing environments, and relevant regulations and policies (e.g., FAR, DFARS, ITAR, Defense Acquisition Pathways, OTAs, etc.)Ability to develop deal strategy and contract positioning for defense/federal customers, identify account growth opportunities, and communicate customer feedback and market insights to internal stakeholdersAbility to manage multiple concurrent accounts and competing deadlines; experience collaborating across cross-functional teams; high attention to detail in proposals, contracts, and customer communicationsExperience contributing to drafting RFPs/RFIs or industry responses and independently authoring white papers, capability briefs, or similar materials; ability to interpret customer requirements and conduct independent research to address knowledge gapsTrack record managing complex sales cycles from initial contact through close with DoW, defense primes, or federal government customers; experience handling objections and tailoring solutions to customer requirementsExperience in a fast-paced environment with dynamic workloads; ability to navigate through uncertainty and adjust strategies quickly in response to customer feedback or shifting prioritiesAbility to build relationships across technical and non-technical stakeholders; experience distilling complex concepts into clear, persuasive communications and translating customer needs into product solutions What Will Set You Apart: Conversant in U.S. military acquisition programs, federal budgeting process, and warfighting needs.Skilled in using data and creating dashboards to track, understand, and predict customer behavior.Familiarity with data analysis methods and independently producing recommendations and info papers with documented analysis for decision makers.Skilled and clear communicator able to create and share recommendations, succinct summaries, and metrics with team.A demonstrated penchant for curiosity and motivation in making material improvements in the US defense industrial base.
