The Regional Sales Manager will support the Northeast region, focused New York and Boston markets.The role is fully remote with travel and is based in the Greater New York City area.Job Responsibilities IncludeDevelop territory sales plan aligned with annual brand business plans and region objectivesManage direct accounts according to established sales and revenue goalsResearch new leads and targets for market developmentDevelop effective relationships with current customer base and new prospectsMaintain effective sales forecastsMaximize contribution margin according to established goals with aggressive price and promotion management, contract management, monitoring/assisting with A/R balances, clearing deductions, production and supply chain resolutions, and new product development projects.Create and deliver sales presentations, business reviews, and product recommendations effectively.Develop and manage sales expense budget.Ensure that a high professional level of customer service is maintained via resolution of complaints, troubleshooting product supply chain problems, client visits, industry networking, participating in trade shows, gourmet chocolate training to distributor’s sales network, etc.Maintain up-to-date awareness and developments in the Foodservice, Bakery and Confection space within the region.Travel 30%About YouBachelor’s degree preferred7 to 10 years of sales experience in a bakery or foodservice environment.English speaking / Spanish a plusProven creativity in prospecting, opening and growing account baseBusiness acumen and demonstrated quantitative skillsHas proficiency in sales and full knowledge of the product line and its applications.Organizational Commitment, Achievement Orientation – know how the organization functions and work well competing against our standard of excellenceMastery of the foodservice and bakery market body of job-related knowledge.What You Can Expect From Barry CallebautSalary Range of $110,000 - $125,000, depending on factors such as experience and location, plus annual bonus and our comprehensive benefits packageMyFlex PTO (unlimited!) and Paid HolidaysEnvironment that welcomes workplace flexibilityAn atmosphere where diversity is embraced, and inclusivity is second nature.
