General Manager – Upscale Casual GastropubLocation: Manayunk, Philadelphia, PACompensation: $80,000 - $90,000 annually + Bonus PotentialAbout the ConceptJoin a vibrant, upscale casual gastropub in the heart of Manayunk. We're known for our chef-driven menu, craft cocktails, curated beer list, and high-energy atmosphere. Our space blends elevated food and beverage with neighborhood hospitality, drawing a loyal local crowd and weekend destination guests. We're looking for a leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-volume environments and understands the balance of quality, service, and profitability.Position OverviewAs General Manager, you'll own the day-to-day operations and long-term success of the restaurant. You'll lead from the front, developing a strong team culture while driving financial performance, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who lives for hospitality and knows how to elevate both the guest experience and the bottom line.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Development: Hire, train, mentor, and retain a team of FOH and BOH managers, supervisors, and hourly staff. Foster a positive, accountable, and hospitality-driven cultureOperations: Oversee all aspects of daily operations including service, kitchen execution, bar program, and facilities. Ensure health, safety, and liquor code complianceFinancial Management: Own P&L responsibility. Manage budgets, labor, COGS, and controllable expenses to hit revenue and profit targets. Analyze sales trends and implement strategies to grow the businessGuest Experience: Maintain an active presence on the floor during peak periods. Handle guest relations and ensure every visit reflects our brand standardsBeverage & Culinary Collaboration: Partner with Chef and Bar Manager to execute menus, manage inventory, control waste, and drive creativity in food and beverage programmingCommunity Engagement: Represent the restaurant in the Manayunk community.
