Senior Accountant

CV Resources is partnering with a reputable client in the consumer goods space in Seattle to identify a Senior Accountant for a long-term contract engagement. Our client is seeking an experienced Senior GL Accountant to join their team on a 6-month interim basis to backfill a key contributor on leave. This is a great opportunity to step into a highly visible role supporting core accounting functions within a well-established brand. Location: Seattle, WA (Downtown – Hybrid: 2 days remote) Duration: 6-month contract Compensation: $40–$47/hour Interview Process: Teams interview with Assistant Controller Key Responsibilities Prepare and review general ledger journal entries and account reconciliations Support month-end and year-end close processes Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of cash balances Manage and record payroll journal entries Assist with sales and use tax filings and compliance Provide ad hoc GL support across various accounting functions Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate financial reporting Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field 4 years of progressive accounting experience, with strong GL exposure Hands-on experience with: Bank reconciliations Sales & use tax Payroll accounting Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Experience in a fast-paced environment preferred Availability to start quickly PandoLogic.Keywords:Senior Accountant, Location:Seattle,WA-98104, PL:603163717 d24ad0b8-823f-4e68-a892-2986ccdf7392
