Senior Application Architect (Locals Only)

Role: Senior Java Application Architect (Hands-on)Location: 6776 Reisterstown Road Baltimore, MD 21215Hybrid model for this role; candidates should plan to be onsite full time initially and transition to 2–3 days remote after 3–6 months.Key Responsibilities:• Design, architect, and modernize enterprise applications with a strong hands-on coding approach. • Actively develop using Java (Spring Boot) and react — recent 3–5 years must be focused on coding. • Work as an individual contributor, writing core code for legacy-to-modern application transformation. • Perform data migration from mainframe/legacy systems (databases and files) to modern relational databases. • Build and implement SSO solutions (Okta, SAML) and support secure integrations. • Deploy and manage applications on web servers (IIS) and cloud environments. • Own end-to-end delivery from development to deployment while working independently.Required Skills:• Strong hands-on experience in Java (Spring Boot) and React (must be actively coding). • Experience with application modernization, microservices, and cloud architecture. • Expertise in data migration (mainframe to SQL-based systems). • Experience with SSO (Okta, SAML) and enterprise integrations. • Solid knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.
