Project / Sr. Project Engineer (Structural)
Position Objectives:Perform structural analysis and design and oversee drafting work for the production and construction of precast, post-tensioned, concrete tanks.Position Responsibilities:Perform structural analysis and design of precast, post-tensioned concrete tanks in compliance with appropriate design codes and Dutchland standard practicesOversee the preparation of Erection and Production drawings for precast, post-tensioned concrete tanksInterface with the Project Management, Production and Construction departments to produce and install tanks within established budgets and schedulesAssign work to Design Engineers as necessaryCheck work performed by Design EngineersContribute to efforts within the Engineering Department to continuously improve quality and efficiency of structural designsContribute to efforts in the Engineering and Drafting Department to continuously improve efficiency of workflowDiligently work to obtain proficiency in analysis and design of all types of tanks produced by DutchlandAssist in the coordination of engineering and drafting for out-sourced projects, as neededTravel to job sites to inspect tanks and recommend remedial work, as neededPrepare letters and written reports, as neededSubmit project reports to the Engineering ManagerB.S. in Civil Engineering, or equivalentRegistered as a Professional Engineer in any state with the ability to become licensed in other states, as neededAble to interpret Contract Documents for environmental engineering tank projectsConcrete tank design experience is a plusWilling and able to lead teams of engineers and drafters to ensure successful completion of projects
