Accounts Payable Clerk We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in managing high-volume invoice processing and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions. This role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals with strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills.Responsibilities:Process and code invoices with accuracy, ensuring match, batch, and coding requirements are met.Review backup documentation to verify accuracy and adherence to policies.Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies by researching and addressing issues promptly.Handle price and purchase order changes, ensuring updates are correctly reflected.Prepare payments via checks and other approved methods.Export financial data and reports into Excel for analysis and record-keeping.Utilize Excel formulas to streamline processes and maintain data integrity.Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations.Maintain organized records for audits and compliance purposes.Requirements:A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field.Proficiency in high-volume invoice processing and three-way matching.Strong skills in account reconciliation and resolving discrepancies.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data exporting.Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.Ability to manage price and purchase order changes effectively.Excellent communication skills for collaboration across departments.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
