We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Professional to join our onsite team and support critical enterprise applications running on IBM Mainframe platforms. The candidate should possess strong development, maintenance, support, and troubleshooting skills across core mainframe technologies and work closely with business, operations, and distributed application teams.
Primary Skills (Must Have):
Experience: 5+ Years
Candidates must have strong hands-on experience in:
IBM Mainframe (z/OS)
COBOL / Enterprise COBOL
JCL (Job Control Language)
VSAM
DB2 for z/OS
CICS
TSO/ISPF
SDSF
Endevor, Changeman, or similar source control tools
Batch Processing and Job Scheduling
Production Support and Incident Management
Debugging and Performance Tuning of Mainframe Applications
Application Maintenance, Enhancement, and Support
Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
SDLC and Agile methodologies
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze, design, develop, test, and deploy Mainframe applications.
Perform coding and enhancements using COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
Work on batch job monitoring and scheduling activities.
Coordinate with business stakeholders for requirement clarification.
Conduct impact analysis for application changes.
Support system integration and user acceptance testing.
Prepare technical documentation and knowledge transfer artifacts.
Ensure adherence to coding standards and operational procedures.
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $35.83/hour - $55.98/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
