This opportunity is ideal for someone who is comfortable wearing many hats, enjoys working in a team-oriented environment, and brings both energy and accountability to their work.About This RoleThe Accountant will play an important role in maintaining the organization’s financial accuracy and supporting ongoing accounting processes. This position is responsible for core accounting functions such as processing transactions, preparing financial data, and assisting with reporting cycles. Working closely with leadership and operational teams, the Accountant will help ensure financial information is reliable, timely, and useful for business decisions. This position also contributes to workflow improvements and supports external reporting requirements.ResponsibilitiesManage daily accounting activity including invoice processing, collections, and monitoring company cash flowRecord and maintain financial transactions in alignment with established accounting standardsAssist with the monthly close process and generate financial reporting packagesPerform reviews and reconciliations of ledger accounts to ensure accuracyPartner with internal stakeholders to track and validate project-related financial dataProduce internal reports to support management’s visibility into performance and costsSupport preparation of documentation needed for external tax filingsHelp establish and refine internal accounting processes and controlsCompile documentation required for lender submissions and ensure compliance with contractual requirementsContribute to various financial projects and analysis as business needs evolveThe Ideal Candidate Possesses:Skills NeededStrong foundation in financial reporting and accounting practicesKnowledge of GAAP principlesExperience working with general ledger systemsFamiliarity with cost tracking or project-based accountingAbility to manage cash-related activities and vendor paymentsExperience reconciling financial statements and accountsProficiency in ERP systems such as NetSuiteIntermediate to advanced Excel capabilitiesQualifications Required for Your SuccessBachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related disciplineBackground in real estate, property, or construction-related accounting preferredWorking knowledge of accounting systems and financial workflowsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple assignments simultaneouslyStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving skillsHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailAdditional Helpful Experience IncludesExposure to development or project-driven financial environmentsUnderstanding of cost tracking and budget-to-actual comparisonsExperience collaborating across finance and operations teamsPersonal Attributes That Support Your SuccessOrganized and able to manage time effectively in a dynamic environmentSelf-directed with the ability to take ownership of responsibilitiesAdaptable and open to taking on a variety of tasksPositive, team-oriented mindset with a strong sense of accountabilityClear and professional communicatorMotivated to continuously learn and improve processesAdditional InformationAll offers of employment are contingent on your successful completion (where permitted by state law) of a confidentiality agreement and background check.
