Maintenance Technician (Direct Hire)Onsite | 12-Hour Shifts$25.00 - $37.00/hour$2,000 Sign-On BonusShift Options1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM3rd Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (15% Shift Differential)About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in a direct-hire opportunity. In this hands-on role, you will support manufacturing operations by maintaining, repairing, assembling, and testing mechanical and electrical equipment. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, and thrives in a fast-paced team environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment.Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.Conduct scheduled PMs and diagnose equipment issues using precision tools and testing equipment.Read and interpret manuals, diagrams, blueprints, and electrical schematics.Fabricate and install replacement or repair components as needed.Complete maintenance documentation and update CMMS records accurately.Prioritize maintenance activities to minimize downtime and support production goals.Collaborate with operators, engineering, quality, contractors, and management to resolve equipment issues.Perform minor electrical installation work.Promote and maintain a strong safety culture.Apply Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles to support continuous improvement initiatives.Participate as a member of the Emergency Response Team.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDPrevious maintenance experience within a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of industrial mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systemsAbility to read electrical schematics and technical documentationBasic CNC troubleshooting experienceStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentStrong commitment to safety and quality standardsBasic understanding of automation systemsAbility to troubleshoot electrical systems using proper testing equipmentPreferredAssociate Degree in Maintenance, Engineering, or related fieldTechnical or Trade School CertificationMicrosoft Office proficiencyExperience with Lean Manufacturing and 5S methodologiesPhysical RequirementsRegular standing and frequent use of hands and armsOccasional walking, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawlingAbility to lift up to 10 pounds regularlyAbility to work around moving mechanical equipment and airborne particlesComfortable working in a moderate-noise manufacturing environmentMust meet vision requirements including close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and focus adjustmentBenefits401(k) & Company MatchMedical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceHealth Savings Account (HSA)Flexible Spending Account (FSA)Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Paid Time Off (PTO)Ready to take the next step in your maintenance career?
