Host / Reservationist

FREVO in Manhattan is seeking a dynamic part-time host/hostess to join our front of house team! FREVO is a Michelin-starred restaurant and art gallery concept located in Greenwich Village. The ideal candidate is a dedicated, organized, and outgoing individual with high standards for customer service; a polished, professional appearance; and a positive attitude. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as strong organizational and multitasking abilities. All candidates must have an excellent, polished presentation and a confident, professional demeanor. Prior restaurant experience is mandatory. Prior fine dining/luxury experience is highly preferred. Prior art gallery experience or fine art knowledge/education is a huge bonus! Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Greeting guests warmly and sincerely upon arrival. - Managing reservations and waitlists via Tock (Reservations App). - Fielding a high volume of phone calls and emails. - Escorting guests to their seats and assisting with coat check. - Handling guest requests, questions, and other needs and enforcing restaurant policies promptly and professionally. - Discussing, explaining, and assisting with sales of the artwork in our rotating art gallery. - Keeping the restaurant entrance clean and organized. All candidates must be able to reliably commute to Greenwich Village. This is a part-time, evening position. 2 shifts per week to start. Friday and Saturday availability is required.
