Assistant Registrar

Xavier University's College of Osteopathic Medicine is seeking an Assistant Registrar to be an integral member of our team and processes. The Assistant Registrar serves as the primary contact for all student record and registration related questions for all academic terms for the College of Osteopathic Medicine (COM). They provide assistance to the University Registrar and to academic areas of the University for the updating and maintenance of student records, with a focus on support of the COM.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee and maintain academic records of the university including course registration, grade changes, degree conferrals, leave of absence, schedule of classes production, classroom assignments as related to the COM
Provide supervision and leadership related to the processing of student records related to the COM
Manage and maintain record systems as related to the COM
Provide customer service to students, faculty, and staff in support of the services of the Office of the Registrar with specific focus on support of the COM’s D.O. and Master’s programs
Assist with compliance and institutional reporting as it relates to the COM’s D.O. and Master’s programs
Assist in development of system enhancements
Assist with oversight of daily operation of office
Represent the office to other University groups in the absence of, or at the request of, the University Registrar
JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
3–5 years of administrative experience
1–3 years’ experience working in a higher education environment with Registrar’s Office experience preferred
Strong working knowledge of university policies and procedures
