Lead Line Cook/Prep Cook

Job Brief: We are looking for professional line cooks to prepare food to the Chef's specifications as well as set up one's station(s) and line for services. Line Cook duties will consist of assistance to both the Executive and Sous Chefs with their daily tasks maintaining operation. Responsibilities: -Setting up & stocking stations with all necessary supplies -Preparing food for service (knife skills, butchering meat, preparing sauces etc.) -Cooking menu items in cooperation with the rest of the Kitchen Staff -Compliance with nutrition, sanitary regulations, and safety standards -Ensure all food is sent out in a timely fashion in the highest quality -Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers Requirements: -Proven cooking experience (including experience as a line and/or prep cook) -Excellent understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, procedures etc. -Accuracy and speed in excitation of assigned tasks -ServeSafe Certification/Food Handlers Certification -Willingness to learn *Applicants who have attended Culinary School will receive first priority.
