In this role, you will use specialized equipment to identify and mark underground utilities including gas, electric, water, sewer, and telecom lines to ensure safe excavation and construction activities.ResponsibilitiesPerform field inspections to locate and mark underground utility lines using industry-standard locating equipment.Interpret utility maps, plans, and construction drawings.Document findings, create accurate field notes, and complete digital reports.Communicate with contractors, customers, property owners, and supervisors to coordinate locating activities.Follow all safety guidelines, regulatory standards, and company procedures.Maintain equipment and ensure proper calibration and care.Preferred QualificationsPrior utility locating experience.Knowledge of Texas One-Call / 811 requirements.Other Requirements:Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving recordAbility to work outdoors in various conditionsMust have reliable transportationAbility to work overtime as needed to complete projectsSuccessfully complete a drug screening and background checkSome travel may be requiredEmployee BenefitsPaid HolidaysPTO & Sick TimeMedical, Dental, Vision InsuranceShort Term Disability, Long Term Disability, Life InsuranceWorkout Facility on SiteEducational Training & Support for Career Advancement
