Job Description Hotel Social Sales Manager, Hamilton, NJ Salary up to $55,000-60,000KSummary of Position As the most important partner to the Director of Sales, you are the first point of contact with our guests online, as well as at as a key sales person for the property. The sales and service savvy you bring to the role is crucial to our brand.As a Social Sales Manager, you will:Interact with clients to coordinate group bookings and roomsPromote and engage in online conversations with customers to encourage relationship buildingDirectly engage in room, event, and block sales, both with the Director of Sales, and on your ownCoordinate with Director of Sales and our Marketing department to engage with social media influencers to promote and produce contentInput bookings and room blocks into the property management systemCollaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of serviceMaintain sales records and files Act as a first point of contact for social business inquires  Perform other tasks as assigned Keys to Success  Minimum 1 year of Hotel Sales Manager, Sales Coordinator, or direct hotel sales experience is REQUIREDPrior additional hotel experience (in any department) is a PLUSOrganizational, administrative and communication skillsExperience in the local market a plusBrand experience is preferred, but not requiredProactive approach to prospecting for new business as well as account penetration and saturationSuperb organizational and follow up skillsComputer Skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook a must Professional appearance and conductCompany DescriptionSince 2000, Gecko Hospitality has established itself as a premier recruiting partner for the hospitality and restaurant management industry, consistently connecting top-tier talent with exceptional career opportunities and supporting employers in building high‐performing leadership teams.
