Position Title:Summer Worker - LibraryJob Description:A summer worker for the Phillips Library is an integral part of library functions. The individual is a representative of the Phillips Library both in the office and on campus.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Perform inventory of library materials.Assist with focused projects as assigned.Be responsible for opening and closing the library.Manage and operate the printers and other hardware.Handle circulation transactions (check-in and check-out of library materials).Answer patron questions regarding library procedures and services both in-person and by phone.Light reference work as deemed by the library supervisor.Job Requirements: Ability to independently commute to campus. (No on-campus housing will be provided.)Education, Experience, and Skills: College students from all institutions are encouraged to apply.Salary: Minimum Wage: $15.00/hourFull Time/Part Time:Part time
