Join our growing team supporting customer missions as a ETL Developer in McLean, Virginia.We are seeking a skilled ETL Developer to provide onsite support for a geospatial visualization platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining data flows into a PostgreSQL database while developing custom ETL solutions. This role requires hands-on experience in programmatic data manipulation, seamless data integration, and working with large geospatial datasets.Technical RequirementsProgrammatically manipulating dataEnsuring seamless data integration with all aspects of the applicationWorking with Apache NiFi to develop new ETL flowsUsing PostgreSQL for data managementUsing SQL to query large datasetsUsing APIs to retrieve data from various sourcesHaving knowledge of ETL concepts and best practicesWorking with geospatial dataWorking closely with team members to gather data requirementsRequired Qualifications Minimum 8 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree; 7 years of experience with a Master’s degree; or 6 years of experience with a DoctorateDegree in technical fields such as Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Geography etc.Experience using PostgreSQL for data managementKnowledge using APIs to retrieve data from various sourcesExperience using SQL to query large datasetsExperience with programmatic data manipulationDesired SkillsExperience using AWS cloud services to efficiently gather and service dataKnowledge of ETL concepts and best practicesExperience using Apache NiFiFamiliarity with python data manipulationFamiliarity with Intelligence Community dataFamiliarity with geospatial tools and applicationsExperience supporting enterprise applications data holdingsBCore is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
