This role is ideal for someone interested in market research, data management, and business strategy. Must be located in the Herndon, VA area. Internship dates: June 1 - August 7, 2026. Key ResponsibilitiesUpdate and maintain the Project Opportunity Database with accurate and up-to-date informationConduct research to identify new project opportunities, market trends, and potential clientsVerify and enrich existing data through online research and internal coordinationAssist in organizing and structuring business development data for easy access and reportingSupport the team with ad hoc research, data entry, and administrative tasks as needed QualificationsCurrently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related fieldStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data management toolsStrong research and analytical skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasks Preferred Skills (Optional)Familiarity with CRM systems or databasesInterest in business development, sales, or market analysis What You’ll GainHands-on experience in business development operationsExposure to real-world project tracking and market researchOpportunity to contribute to strategic business initiatives Lane Construction offers a comprehensive benefits package with an excellent opportunity to grow and be part of one of the most respected names in the construction industry.
