Other benefits include employer pension matching, shift differential, incentive/premium pay, free annual biometric screening, covered CEU expenses and paid volunteer time off.RiverView is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.ResponsibilitiesPhysical Therapist (PT)- On-Call StatusLocation: Hospital / outpatientPosition Status: PRNSchedule: Scheduled as needed.Pay Range: $44.40 - $62.17 (based on experience) including a weekend and holiday rotation.The PT will work as a member of our physical therapy team to evaluate and treat patients in the outpatient, inpatient, and sub-acute settings. The PT is expected to effectively and professionally interacting with patients, family members, and other health care team members while maintaining RiverView Health standards of behavior.What can we offer you:Patient-centered, team-based, and collaborative work environmentCompetitive PayMentorship1:1 30-60 minute patient treatmentsDesignated paperwork timeQualificationsWhat are we looking for:Individuals who have a positive impact in their work environmentStrong communication and patient education skillsFlexibility to work across inpatient, outpatient, and swing bed environmentsPrimary responsibilities:Evaluate and interpret patient assessments to determine necessity for skilled services to develop physical therapy plans of careDevelop and implement treatment plans that focus on functional and measurable outcomes to achieve established therapy goalsIdentify patient's needs (physical, cultural, and psychosocial) and exhibit compassion, caring, and empathy to individual differencesProvide guidance and education to patients and their families on safety and mobilityDocument and complete billing according to current standards and policiesPerform data collection and obtain accurate informationEffectively delegate tasks and supervise physical therapy assistants as neededCollaborates with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomesAssist in maintenance of equipment, tools, supplies, and inventoryAdhere to ethical and legal standardsEnsure continued competence and updated field knowledgeRequired:Current clinicians:Current State of Minnesota license as a Physical Therapist/ PT or proactively in the process of the application process for current state licensure as a Physical Therapist / PT.Current American Heart BLS certification. If not held currently, training will be provided and certification must be obtained within 4 months from the date of hire.Current students:Clinical experience in inpatient and outpatient settings.Requiring passing score on NPTE within 3 months of hire.Current American Heart BLS certification. If not held currently, training will be provided and certification must be obtained within 4 months from the date of hire.
