HVAC/Refrigeration Technician
*Overview*
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be proficient in the installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration systems. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient operation of refrigeration units, particularly those utilizing low temp refrigeration systems. A successful technician will demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety and quality.
*Duties*
- Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems and components, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Perform regular inspections and troubleshooting of refrigeration equipment to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Utilize schematics to understand system layouts and diagnose problems accurately.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, and replacing worn parts.
- Operate service vehicles for transportation to job sites while adhering to all safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Document all service activities, repairs, and maintenance performed on equipment.
*Experience*
- Proven experience as a Refrigeration Technician or in a related field such as HVAC or appliance repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
- Proficiency in welding techniques for repairs and installations.
- Previous experience as a service technician or mechanic is an advantage.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for van driving responsibilities.
