Join us as a Senior Digital Business Developer to drive innovation, identify emerging trends, and transform insights into growth opportunities in the smart home market.What will you be doing?Grundfos, a Great Place to Work certified company, is looking for a dedicated Senior Business Development Manager for Smart Home Solutions (internal title: Senior Digital Business Developer) to join our Domestic Building Services (DBS) Solutions & Marketing team. In this critical role, you will empower DBS by consistently identifying and developing lucrative growth opportunities within the smart home sector. You will be pivotal in recognizing emerging digital trends, converting insights into actionable strategies, and creating impactful business initiatives. Reporting to the Vice President of DBS Solutions & Marketing, you will work remotely from your home office anywhere in the US, with a preference for Brookshire, TX. Your key responsibilities include:Leading the development and execution of strategies focused on your assigned business area. Creating and maintaining business strategies and plans for your area of focus. Collecting and analyzing market and competitor data. Evaluating business opportunities within sub-segments of your business area. Formulating tactical business recommendations based on comprehensive market and customer insights. Driving and implementing complex customer-oriented business development projects with relevant stakeholders. Collaborating with product management and development teams to deliver innovative solutions and drive impact. Sharing knowledge regarding future customer needs and market trends with relevant functions. Engaging regularly with customers and sales channels through visits. Leading customer-oriented business development pilot projects. Representing the segment at various industry events, exhibitions, and seminars. Your qualifications:We are looking for candidates who possess: A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent work experience. 5-8 years of experience in business development or a similar role. Experience in heating/cooling and security within the smart home market is a plus. A proven track record of successful business development. Strong knowledge of best practices in regional business development. A demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and a passion for business development in both local and global contexts. A strategic mindset to understand the big picture and translate it into actionable plans. A strong emphasis on Customer Centricity, Accountability, and Collaboration.
