JV Field Hockey Coach for Fall 2026 Summary: Hudsonville's JV Field Hockey Coach is responsible for helping oversee the Field Hockey team.The mission of Hudsonville Public Schools is to educate, challenge, and inspire all learners to become contributing, responsible members of a global society. Description:Work directly with Athletic Director and assist in the following areas:Conduct player tryoutsLead team practices and conditioning sessionsProvide in-game strategyCoordinate travel plans for away gamesSelect, instruct and coach the team through the season at practices and contestsMaintain all records, statistics, and awards informationMaintain ongoing communication with players, parents, and mediaAttend practices, games, and meetings punctually.Teach necessary skills for individual and team achievementMust have the following:Possess a great love of the sport and a high interest in helping individuals reach their highest potentialBe a good role model for student-athletesCurrent knowledge of rules, fundamentals, teamwork and the ability to relate to and teach teenage studentsStrong commitment to building a successful program for student-athletesStrong interpersonal skillsStrong organizational skillsCreating a positive learning experience for all members of the team Education and/or Experience:Evidence of expertise in sportPreferably previous coaching or history playing sport Language Skills: Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from the community, regulatory agencies or staff members. Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
