The Chaplain Resident 1 offers compassionate spiritual and emotional support to all Baylor Scott & White Health patients, family members, and staff. This support is given regardless of faith background or religious affiliation as part of a holistic, multidisciplinary team approach. The resident serves in a one-year residency program under the Clinical Pastoral Education Program accredited by ACPE: The Standard for Spiritual Care and Education and Baylor Scott & White Health policies and procedures. Fall Program 2026 BSWH Virtual Orientation - Tuesday, September 8th. Chaplain Residency Program begins on Wednesday, September 9th. Essential Functions of the Role. Fulfills CPE requirements; continues professional development of behavior-based competencies in the delivery of spiritual care services. Organizes, promotes, and conducts religious services for patients, families, and staff.
