Tire Press ApprenticeCurrently, we are seeking a Tire Press Apprentice to support our Dundalk, MD location. The primary focus is on shop duties including inventory management, job staging, and assisting technicians, with structured hands-on training in tire service and installation.Key Responsibilities:Pull, stage, and organize tires, wheels, and materials for scheduled jobs and service callsLoad and unload delivery trucks and service vehicles efficiently and safelyPress and dismount/mount shop tires for technicians as requiredMaintain accurate inventory, including stocking, labeling, and organizing tire inventoryAssist technicians with basic tire service tasks as part of training progressionOperate shop equipment (forklifts, tire presses, air tools, etc.) as trainedKeep the shop clean, organized, and compliant with safety standardsSupport daily shop workflow to improve technician productivity and job readinessPerform local tire deliveries or pickups as neededTraining & Development:Receive hands-on training in forklift tire service, mounting/dismounting, and job site preparationProgressively develop skills to transition into a Tire Technician roleLearn proper safety procedures, equipment operation, and service standardsRequirements:Valid driver's license with acceptable driving recordAbility to lift 50100 lbs. regularlyComfortable working in a warehouse/shop environmentStrong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detailAbility to follow direction and work effectively within a teamMechanical aptitude or interest in hands-on work preferredCompensation:This is an hourly position with a range of $21-22/hr.
