Our development programs are also delivering thousands of new rental homes and apartments as part of our commitment to help solve the housing supply shortage.Job DescriptionA Transaction Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Acquisitions team by overseeing the escrow process from contract through closing and financing. A transaction coordinator will also in all ad hoc projects supporting portfolio growth initiatives. Serving as the primary point of contact for all closing procedures and questions, this position is key in delivering exceptional service to both internal and external clients.Receive executed purchase agreements, supply the escrow or title officer with the necessary documentation and information to open filesResearch county websites to confirm tax and property informationProvide documentation to Accounting for a wire of the earnest deposit moneySeek necessary information to clearly understand if expected work results have been achievedWork with Title to obtain required HOA information and/or documentationUpdate internal systems with required data and documentationMaintain all documentation and files to ensure all the mandatory disclosures are completeVerify for completeness of all initials, signatures and dates before marking the purchase contracts as completeInitiate communication if documents require any additional signatures, corrections or amendmentsMonitor and assess the progress of the sale so that important deadlines are met, and contingencies are released Support acquisition team with data validation and research in the underwriting process as needed Qualifications:Takes ownership of work product and delivers within tight deadlinesAbility to work well under pressure, self-manage, and set an example for othersExperience managing complex projects through to successful completionTrack record of building respectful relationships with both internal and external team members, vendors, direct reports, leadership, etc.Passionate problem solver who is proactive, reliable, and resourcefulTrack record of fostering a collaborative team environmentProficiency in Microsoft excel is a plusMinimum RequirementsHigh school diplomaProficiency in MS Office programsOutstanding customer serviceAt Tricon, we are committed to creating a workplace where every individual is valued for their unique contributions, experiences, voices, and backgrounds.
