CNC Programmer
Description: Analyze production drawings, CAD models, and work orders to develop, test , and optimize CNC programs, ensuring accurate dimensions and efficient production cycles.Utilize CAD/CAM software (AutoCAD, Rhino, Alphacam & CAM software) to translate designs into machine-readable code.Determine, select, and manage appropriate cutting tools, speeds and feed rates for wood components.Simplify machining time to enhance productivity and efficiency.Support the shop with technical questions and troubleshooting.Perform other duties and responsibilities as directed by the Supervisor and the Production Manager.Requirements:Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering or Computer ScienceMinimum 5 years experience as a CNC programmer in architectural millwork and casework.5 years' experience in AutoCad.5 years' experience in Rhino5 years' experience in Alphacam or other CAM softwareExperience with Homag CNC machines is a plus.Excellent organizational and time management skillsExcellent oral and written communicationMust be able to work overtime when neededHighly motivated with the ability to work with minimum supervisionPIa35a31806a0e-26289-39974413
