Hammer Operator$20-$28/hour1st5:00am-3:30pmHammer Operator Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:Operate a hydraulic hammer to forge hot steel partsOperate and monitor associated power press components in a safe manner and produce quality partsManufacture high-quality products, which meet customer and design specifications, based upon production schedules and forge product, which meets customer demandsHammer Operator Requirements:Strong knowledge of the hammer and the ability to maintain safety, output, and qualityStrong knowledge of the hammer and the ability to perform basic maintenance necessary to always maintain safety, output, and qualityThorough working knowledge of swabbing and hot trim, including set-up and adjustmentAbility to read job set-up spreadsheetsWorking knowledge of induction unitMust know how to set up the hammer using all correct procedures in placeMust have working knowledge of various hand tools, including wrenches, sockets, and impact wrenchesAbility to read micrometers and calipersIND022QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
