Opportunity: RN - Cardiac Tele Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • 36 or 48 weekly guaranteed hours available • Weekend requirements: every other weekend as required by facility • No call requirements • 13-week assignment length • Float as needed to similar or lower acuity units • Required: current RN license eligible for Missouri licensure, BLS and ACLS from AHA only • Minimum 1 year cardiac telemetry experience required (inpatient only) • Patient ratios: nights 1:6-1:8 (estimates, varies) • Work with 32-bed telemetry unit using EPIC EMR system • Equipment includes lift equipment, bladder scanner, interpreter iPad, BiPAP monitoring • Care for patients with CHF, chest pain, arrhythmias, respiratory issues, renal conditions, hemodialysis patients • Experience required with Amio and Cardizem drips, central lines (HD catheters, Ports, PICCs) • Handle overflow patients including sepsis, urology, surgical, ETOH/drug withdrawals, isolation cases • Must read telemetry and work in fast-paced, high acuity environment • Dress code: black scrub tops and pants with Mercy cross logo required • Night shift orientation conducted on day shift - must be available entire orientation week Facility: This healthcare organization has been serving the South St. Louis County area for over 140 years, providing compassionate medical and specialty care.
