Production Team Job DescriptionOrnua Ingredients North America custom formulates and manufactures a complete line of pasteurized process cheese products. We are looking for an energetic, fast-paced, hardworking and reliable employee to join our Production team!Essential Functions:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.Open barrels, block, or bags of cheese and other ingredientsWeigh the ingredients to the specified amount per individual batch sheetsUse knives and wires to cut and trim the ingredients to the correct weightsPlace bags of cheese into boxes and send through to get taped and boxedStack packed boxes of cheese onto a palletTransfer ingredients from the scale to the pick-up tablesHeavy lifting and the ability to load cheese into grinders is requiredMaintain a clean and safe work areasAll other duties as assignedQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent requiredSolid work history is a mustBasic math, reading and communications skillsBenefits:Medical, Dental, Vision insurance and more available on Day 1!PTO given on Day 1!3 Personal Days per year!And more!Physical Demands:Must be able to stand on your feet for long periods of time- (10-hour days)Ability to talk, hear and carry out directions in a safe and efficient mannerAbility work with hands and to lift up to 50lbs repetitively and occasionally up to 100lbsAbility to adjust body position to bend, stand, walk, turn, and pivotAbility to make minor decisions based on standard practiceOrnua values diversity and inclusion and welcomes applications from candidates with diverse backgrounds.
