Degree in Engineering or related field, and 0-10 years post-degree experienceDesire to work in residential, commercial, and mixed-use industries.Knowledge of basic materials design - wood, concrete, masonry, and steel.Good technical writing skills in letters, reports, etc.Good organization and communication skills via verbal conversations, emails, instant messages.Experience with and knowledge of other engineering software – Excel, RISA, AutoCAD C3D, Enercalc, Bluebeam, Revit, Forte and othersExperience with building design - equivalent lateral force procedure, vertical & lateral design, detailing of connections, hardwareExperience with building design - equivalent lateral force procedure, vertical & lateral design, detailing of connections, hardwareExperience with communicating with contractors, architects, and other project team membersKnowledge of 2D and 3D modeling techniques and interprets the results of those models.Job Types: Full-timeSalary: $65,000 to $85,000Schedule:Monday to FridayEducation:Bachelor's (Preferred)Experience:AutoCAD: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: In person, Sandpoint Idaho
