Lunch and Recess Monitor

Position Type:Support Staff/ParaprofessionalDate Posted:10/16/2025Location:Ellis School Lunch and Recess MonitorThe district is seeking personnel to work at Ellis School in the middle of the day to provide additional supervision and support to students during their lunch and recess periods. Applicants should:Be available from 11:15am to 1:15pm one or more days per week.Enjoy working with children of all ages (preschool through middle school).Be able to assist with supervision in environments such as the cafeteria, the playgrounds, and the fields.Be willing to provide support to students in these settings, including opening food containers, helping with cleaning up messes, helping students find things, etc.NOTE: Lunch monitors will not be asked to supervise students alone.
