Memory Care Director LPN

Memory Care Director (LPN) Assisted Living CommunityAn established assisted living community is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to serve as our Memory Care Director and help lead and elevate our growing memory care program.This is a hands-on clinical leadership role for an LPN who thrives in the day-to-daysupporting residents, guiding team members, and ensuring high-quality, person-centered care for individuals living with dementia and cognitive impairment. The ideal candidate combines strong nursing skills with leadership ability and a genuine passion for memory care.Key Responsibilities:Provide clinical oversight and coordination of care for residents in the memory care neighborhoodAdminister medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and state regulationsMonitor resident health status, recognize changes in condition, and communicate appropriately with providers and familiesPartner with the Health & Wellness Director to ensure compliance with all clinical policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsSupervise and support care staff (CNAs/Med Techs), including training, coaching, and performance oversightMaintain a strong daily presence on the floor, assisting with resident care and engaging with families and team membersAssist in care planning, assessments, and service plan updates to ensure individualized, resident-centered carePromote safe, structured routines that support residents with cognitive impairmentSupport behavior management and redirection techniques using a positive, person-centered approachEnsure proper documentation of care, incidents, and changes in conditionQualifications:Current, active LPN license in the state of FloridaExperience in memory care, dementia care, or assisted living preferredStrong clinical assessment and medication management skillsKnowledge of dementia progression, behaviors, and best practices for care and redirectionProven ability to lead, train, and support caregiving team membersCompassionate, patient, and relationship-driven approach to careStrong communication skills with residents, families, physicians, and team membersAbility to remain calm, organized, and effective in a fast-paced environmentHands-on leader who leads by example and maintains high standards of careOpportunity:This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by combining nursing expertise with leadershiphelping shape the clinical quality, team culture, and overall resident experience within a dedicated memory care program.Benefits:401(k)Dental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceWork Location: In personhttps://info.flclearinghouse.comPIcc971c8a19ff-26289-40448682
