DescriptionThe purpose of this position is to perform preventative maintenance in the interior and exterior of the facility.Duties and responsibilitiesRefill plant wide foot sanitizer sanitations, soap dispensers, sanitizer dispensers, and paper towel dispensers. Clean any spills on the production floor and support warehouse with spillsMaintain the facility grounds clear of trash, empty exterior trash, maintain smoke area cleaned, and ensure exterior cages are locked.Configure workstations Conduct general building repairs that may include: painting, changing light bulbs, installing office equipment, drywall repair, low level plumbing, install & repair LEDs, and etcPerforms tasks while following GMP, Color Code Programs, and Plant Safety guidelines.Handling of chemicals following SDS guidelinesOther duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh School or GED preferredSensory or judgmental criteriaAssociating with people in a professional mannerKnowledge and understanding of chemicals, cleanliness and odorsVisual acuity needed for color coded equipment for cleaning and chemicals. Able to use various power toolsAble to work independently and follow oral and written instructionsNot afraid of heightsRequirementsPhysical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to sit, walk, bend at the waist and stand; Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 25-50 pounds. Position will frequent the production floor, so operating in standard seasonal warehouse and food processing plant temperature conditions will be required. Work is completed in a facility where nuts, fruits and other allergens are present.
