Job Title: Package Development Coordinator Location: 888 North Douglas Street El Segundo CA 90245 United StatesDuration: 12-month temporary contractRate: $24.50/hr on W2About The RoleJoin the exciting and dynamic world of USA as a Package Development Contractor. This role is a 12-month temporary assignment with the NYX Professional Makeup Development Team.You will assist in the operational development process for new product launches and support day-to-day business activities. This position offers the opportunity to work on challenging projects, collaborate with the Operations Development team, and gain exposure to top talent, brands, and divisions. Experience Required: 3–5 years in package development, project management, operations, or related fields.Key Responsibilities Track New Product Development (NPD) timelines and follow up on deliverables. Assist in research and development of packaging components. Provide MINDS (Packaging Spec System) support. Manage first production samples – including receiving, shipping, and organizing packages by category. Lead a complexity level 1 or 2 project to learn the Development Launch process. Attend development meetings and provide recap/follow-ups. Support Value Analysis for plant and team. Contribute to sustainability packaging projects and manage reporting communications. Collaborate and interface with operations and manufacturing teams. Perform other duties as needed. Required Qualifications 3–5 years of professional experience in package development, product development, operations, or project management. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task effectively. Excellent time management, prioritization, coordination, and follow-up abilities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) to work cross-functionally. Highly organized, with proven ability to manage documentation and materials efficiently. Energetic, professional, and positive attitude with the ability to self-manage. Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Prior packaging background is a strong plus.
