Job description:Job description:General PurposeAccurately manage Buyout POs, transfer inventory, and interofficepaperwork. Communicate with multiple departments on a daily basis.Responsible for coordinating and performing product transfers betweenlocations and local pick-ups. The Buyout and Transfer Coordinator isexpected to be DOT Compliant at all times. They must also adhere to allthe Federal and State laws and regulations when operating a MotorVehicle, safety standards, and the Service Guarantee. He or she isresponsible for the transfer, buyout process and interoffice deliveries,and clear communication while performing these duties. He or she is alsoresponsible for performing the transfer transaction in our ERPSystem.This is a full time, hourly position, working Monday to Friday,8:30 pm to 5 pm. The starting hourly rate is between $26-$28 per hour.Main Job Tasks & Responsibilities (DO)- Compare Purchase Orders being picked up for accuracy and make surethey are correct.- Respond to PO emails and email sales team when buyouts are pickedup.- Communicate with Inventory and Warehouse Supervisors regardingBuyout Merchandise location and status.- Check load and complete pre and post trip safety inspectionaccording to the Policy and Process document.- Keep trucks clean inside and out.- Check inspections and registrations for compliance.- Keep paperwork organized at all times.- Use caution when on the road and drive in a manner that reduces riskat all times.- Perform inventory related and pick pack related functions in thewarehouse when not driving under the direction of the FieldOperations Manager or the Inventory Supervisor.- Fuel your truck during the day and record how much fuel is used onfuel sheets.- Correctly read and understand the Purchase Orders.- Maintain a neat and orderly work area.- Manage inter-office and common carrier mail.- Assist with Cycle Counts and Spot Counts.- Responsible for transfers in and out of locations from beginning toend.- Operate a truck and forklift to transfer items and pick orders whenneeded.- Accurately enter information into our ERP system.- Be able to follow SOP and processes.- Assist in unloading, labeling and staging all inbound and materialpicked up by drivers.- Be able to read pick tickets accurately and pick orders that requirea forklift or by hand correctly based on the standardnomenclature.- Be responsible for ensuring that all transfers are completed eachevening and that every customer order can be loaded withoutincident.- Be responsible to communicate to the FOM if there are any ordersthat will not be able to be loaded complete.- Other duties as assigned.Language, Mathematical, and Reasoning Skills- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, shortcorrespondence, and memos.- Ability to write simple correspondence.- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and smallgroup situations to customers, clients, and other employees of theorganization.Work Environment- This position is a warehouse role.Certificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations- Forklift CertifiedKey Competencies (BE)- Be able to take direction effectively- Be positive, interested and motivated- Be reliable, organized, and responsive- Possess strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills- Be able to use Microsoft Office Programs and ERP system- Be able to take direction and work well with others.- Be honest and have integrity.- Detail Oriented.- Be a good communicator.- DOT compliant, Reliable, and Responsive.- Be trustworthy and able to work in an independent environment with asense of urgency.Job Requirements- Has CDL License or must be obtained within 6 months- Must be able to lift at least 100 lbs- Must be able to stand and sit for long periods of time- Must be able to climb in and out of a truck or forklift- Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.- Must be able to solve problem/s- Must be able to use verbal and written communication- Must be organized- Must be able to use interpersonal skills- Must be able to calculate- Must be able to work with interruptionsReports To- Logistics- Field Operations ManagerQualifications:Experience (KNOW)- Must have a clean New York State drivers license.- 1-2 years delivery driving experience in the Tri-State area.- 2-3 years experience operating a forklift- Experience loading & unloading box trucks and flatbeds.- Knowledge of construction material and/or building supplies and theproper handling and identification of these supplies preferred butnot required.Why is This a Great Opportunity:Stable and family oriented culture.Salary Type : Annual SalarySalary Min : $ 54080Salary Max : $ 58240Currency Type : USDNigel
