We care about clear communication, practical engineering decisions, and long-term client relationships.The RoleWe’re looking for an experienced software engineer who’s just as comfortable talking with clients as they are talking about code.This is a part-time, fully remote contractor role where you’ll act as the bridge between our clients and our engineering team. You’ll join calls, ask the right questions, clarify what actually needs to be built, and make sure everyone stays aligned - technically and non-technically.It’s a great fit if you enjoy real-world software problems, like staying close to product and architecture decisions, but don’t want to take on another full-time engineering role.What You’ll Be DoingJoining video calls with clients for discovery, updates, and follow-upsAsking smart questions to understand requirements, constraints, and prioritiesTurning client conversations into clear, actionable tasks for our developersExplaining technical decisions, trade-offs, and progress in simple, non-technical languageWriting short, clear meeting notes and follow-up action itemsKeeping clients informed about timelines, risks, and blockers before they become issuesSpotting opportunities to expand work when it genuinely makes senseBuilding long-term, trust-based relationships with key stakeholdersWhat We’re Looking ForNative-level English (spoken and written) - you’re confident leading calls with US clients5+ years of experience as a software engineer or in a closely related technical roleStrong understanding of modern software development (web, mobile, APIs, cloud)Comfortable translating between business goals and technical realityFamiliar with US communication style and time zonesOrganized, reliable, and good at following up and closing loopsAble to work independently in a fully remote setupNice to HaveExperience working with US-based clientsBackground in customer success, account management, or pre-salesExperience in FinTech, eCommerce, or AI-driven products
