Registered Nurse - Mountains Behavioral Health - Part Time 0.6

In this role you will be:Assessing, planning, implementing, reassessing, and recording patient care in accordance with the interdisciplinary treatment plan.Using thorough knowledge of age-specific needs, care of mentally ill persons, Chapter 5100 of the M.H. Procedures Act, CMS and CIHQ standards, voluntary, involuntary, patient rights and confidentiality.Proficient in therapeutic 1:1's.Leading or co-leading therapeutic groups/activities and providing patient/family teaching.An active member of the interdisciplinary treatment team where you are expected to work collaboratively with physicians and other disciplines to develop, implement, and revise each patient's interdisciplinary treatment and discharge plan.Directing and assisting all other disciplines and provide leadership to ensure professional nursing standards are maintained.Exemplifying the IRMC mission, vision, and values, acting in accordance with IRMC policies and procedures to ensure quality care is provided.Utilizing excellent interpersonal communication skill to effectively communicate with patients, family, and members of the organization.Assisting in providing patient and family education.Able to function as the charge nurse as assigned.Will be required to float to all units, including geropsych, adult, and adolescent.QUALIFICATIONSRequired:EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.EXPERIENCE:1 year med-surg experience and/or 1 year geriatric experience1 year of behavioral health experienceLICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:Possess current license as an RN in Pennsylvania or must pass nursing boards within 6 months of hire.BLS required or obtained within 1 month of hire.Shifts:* Rotation - 2 - 12-hour shifts
