This position performs routine medical assisting procedures to promote patient comfort, safety, and quality care.Job Specifications and Core CompetenciesEducation:High school diploma or equivalentCompletion of a one-year medical assistant program or an accredited two-year medical assisting programPrevious experience or training in general medical office skills and procedures preferredKnowledge of medical terminology requiredLicensure:Certification or registration as a Medical Assistant through AAMA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA is preferred at hire and required within 90 daysCPR certification required within 60 days of hireExperience:One to three years of experience in a medical or physician office preferredBasic business office, clinical, and computer skills preferredOur Commitment Rooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
