Interim Controller

StevenDouglas is partnering with a client in the consumer products manufacturing space in search of an Interim Controller. This is a remote engagement with occasional travel (approximately once a month) to support an operations location in the Pacific Northwest. The engagement is expected to run approximately 3 months, with potential overlap and knowledge transfer support.Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including driving improvements to close timelinesAssess current accounting processes and team structure, identifying opportunities to improve efficiencyOwn cash management responsibilities, including ownership of a rolling 13-week cash forecastManage a distributed accounting team, including oversight of outsourced accounts payable functionsRequirements:Strong hands-on NetSuite experienceProven Controllership experience, ideally in an interim or transitional capacityManufacturing industry background required; CPG experience strongly preferred
