Position : Workday Functional Finance ConsultantLocation : RemoteDuration : Long Term ContractWorkday Finance Certification Mandatory.A Workday Functional Finance Consultant is responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Workday Financial Management solutions while aligning business processes with system capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesGather and analyze business requirements for finance processes (GL, AP, AR, FA, Expenses)Configure Workday Financial modules based on client needsParticipate in end-to-end Workday implementations and/or support projectsDesign and document business processes and system workflowsConduct testing (Unit Testing, UAT) and support issue resolutionProvide post-go-live support and enhancementsCollaborate with technical teams for integrations and reportingTrain end users and create functional documentationCore SkillsStrong knowledge of Workday Financials modules:General Ledger (GL)Accounts Payable (AP)Accounts Receivable (AR)Asset ManagementExpensesUnderstanding of finance and accounting principlesExperience in business process configuration (BPs)Workday reporting knowledge (basic to intermediate)Good stakeholder communication skillsPreferred ExperienceExperience in Workday implementation/support projectsCertifications in Workday Financial Management (optional but valuable)Prior ERP experience (SAP/Oracle) is an advantage
