In this high-ownership, 0?1 seat, you'll build the foundation of the company's brand from the ground up: what it stands for, how it communicates, and how it expresses itself across product storytelling, campaigns, content, sales materials, events, and digital experiences.The company has built strong momentum through product-led growth and word of mouth, with a premium product experience that needs to be matched by an equally thoughtful, differentiated, and consistent brand. As the business scales, brand will play a critical role in shaping how the market understands the company — and how the company understands itself.This role is ideal for someone who is both strategic and hands-on: someone who can define brand principles and creative direction, but also execute the details that bring that vision to life.Location: San Francisco, CA — in-personWhat You'll DoOwn and evolve the company's brand identity across voice, visuals, tone, and overall market presenceAudit the current brand and identify what is working, what needs to change, and where there are opportunities to create a more distinct and premium experienceDefine clear brand principles, visual systems, and creative standards that can scale across teams and channelsPartner closely with marketing, product, sales, leadership, and external vendors to bring the brand to life across every touchpointTranslate product and company narratives into compelling visual storytelling across campaigns, content, web, sales collateral, video, events, and customer-facing materialsWork with content marketing to shape high-quality assets, including thought leadership, launch moments, social content, campaigns, and video conceptsEnsure the brand shows up consistently and effectively across GTM motions, including sales decks, customer communications, influencer campaigns, and partnership initiativesBuild the creative foundation for a company that is scaling quickly, while helping align internal stakeholders around a unified brand directionWho You AreYou're a strong brand thinker and visual storyteller who can take complex ideas and turn them into a clear, memorable, and premium brand experienceYou have strong instincts for visual identity, brand systems, positioning, and creative directionYou can operate both strategically and hands-on — equally comfortable defining the brand foundation and executing high-quality design workYou're able to translate company and product narratives into compelling creative across multiple formats and channelsYou have strong taste, high standards, and an ability to create work that feels polished, differentiated, and commercially effectiveYou're comfortable operating in ambiguity and building from scratch in a fast-moving environmentYou collaborate well across functions and can influence stakeholders around a clear creative directionRequirements3+ years of experience in brand design, brand marketing, creative strategy, visual design, or a similar roleStrong portfolio demonstrating brand identity, visual systems, campaign work, and/or storytelling across multiple channelsDeep understanding of brand voice, positioning, visual identity, and how brand shows up across a company's full customer journeyAbility to move between strategy and execution, from defining creative direction to designing polished assetsExperience partnering cross-functionally with marketing, product, sales, leadership, and/or external vendorsStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsComfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentWillingness to work in-office 5 days per week in San FranciscoNice to HaveExperience at a startup, B2B SaaS company, AI company, or premium technology brandExperience as an early or founding brand/design hireExperience building brand systems from scratch or evolving a brand during a period of rapid growthExperience supporting product launches, campaigns, content marketing, video, influencer/partnership campaigns, or sales enablementExperience working with product-led growth businesses and audiences ranging from individual users to enterprise buyersIf you're excited to define the creative foundation of a category-defining AI company and build a brand that feels as premium as the product itself, we'd love to connect.
