This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with high-volume data, while gaining exposure to accounts payable and receivable processes in a fast-paced environment.ACCOUNTING CLERK RESPONSIBILITIES:Accurately enter and maintain financial and project-related data within company systemsThe Accounting Clerk will support data migration, validation, and cleanup efforts during system implementationReview and verify data for accuracy, completeness, and consistencyAssist with basic accounts payable and accounts receivable tasksHelp reconcile discrepancies and correct data entry errorsThe Accounting Clerk will maintain organized records and documentationCollaborate with accounting and project teams to ensure accurate data flowGenerate basic reports and provide general administrative support to the accounting team QUALIFICATIONS OF THE ACCOUNTING CLERK ROLE:1-3 years of data entry, accounting, or administrative experienceExposure to accounts payable and/or accounts receivable preferredStrong attention to detail and high level of accuracyExperience with Vista Viewpoint is a plusProficiency in Excel and general computer systemsAbility to learn new systems quickly and adapt in a changing environmentStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities WHY THIS OPPORTUNITY:Opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting within the construction industryBe part of a major system implementation and process improvement initiativeStable, growing organization with long-term potentialCollaborative and supportive team environment
