Field Technician-OCONUS

The qualified Field Engineer will support a diverse facility and technology requirements, and the ideal candidate must have a broad range of experience supporting fast paced, quick reaction program requirements. This is a full time OCONUS position.Candidate's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:Deploy to OCONUS site with the opportunity for rest and relaxation (R&R) every3-4months throughout the yearProvide full-time operations and maintenance (O&M) support to Nightwing facilities while coordinating with the campus O&M team for a wider range of building needsSupport mechanical and electrical systemsrecapitalization efforts, O&M, modifications, and status/metrics reportingMaintain as-built designs, ensuring all site changes are recorded and documented properlyAnalyze data from sitemonitoring systems to support expansion and improve efficienciesCLEARANCE Requirement: TS/SCI with CI Poly. Must be willing to upgradeRequired Skills4+ years relevant hands-on experience with two or more of the following:Installation and maintenance of diverse electrical or heating, ventilation and air conditioning systemsInstallation of wires, conduits and pipes to complete facility infrastructurePerform general and preventative maintenance on electrical or HVAC systemsAdhere to set standards for all installationsInterpretconstruction documents, wire identification and tagging, bending long radius conduitPre-startup maintenance on motors; troubleshooting of control and lighting systemsExperience working in a secure environment (SCIF) and understanding the regulations for maintaining accreditationSingle-handedly lift and carry 45-pound systems and be capable of prolonged use of site equipment (e.g., hand tools, power tools, disintegrators, and degaussers)Familiarity with safety rules and first aid proceduresGood communication skills and an ability to work closely with other disciplinesMinimum commitment of 1 year at siteDesired SkillsFamiliar with building management systems; operating, monitoring and programmingCrossed trained in multiple trades (electrical, plumbing, structural, etc.)Required Education:High School or Technical School graduate and a minimum Journeyman license orpossess a college degree in engineering with the willingness to perform the hands-on workAt Nightwing, we value collaboration and teamwork.
