MercyOne North Iowa is a clinical training site for approximately 500 students from 127 different colleges enrolled in programs for medical laboratory, nursing, paramedic, rehabilitation, medical assistants, pastoral services, physicians and many other medical fields.Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a Radiology Tech for our Urgent Care Clinic.As a Radiology Tech at MercyOne, you will:Demonstrate the ability to recognize and assess urgent/emergency needs of patients and initiating appropriate emergency procedures as neededFollow clinic procedure/protocol for the organization and management of the electronic medical record (i.e. test results, retrieval, filing, creation, repair, charging of electronic medical record)Apply specialized radiology skills under the direction of a clinic provider in the care and treatment of patients in a clinic settingPerform a variety of routine and skilled radiology tests, diagnostic tests, or procedures to patients of all agesHours:40 hours a weekClinic is open 7:00am - 7:00pm M-F and 8:00am - 5:00pm on weekendsShift length can vary between 8 - 12 hoursRequirements:Must maintain State of Iowa permit to practice Radiology.2 year radiologic technology programClinic/Physician office experience preferredBasic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider certified or obtained within three (3) months of hireProof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population serve within three (3) months of hireColleagues of MercyOne Health System enjoy competitive compensation with a full benefits package and opportunity for growth throughout the system!Visit MercyOne Careers to learn more about the benefits, culture, and career development opportunities available to you at MercyOne Health System circle of care.Our CommitmentRooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
